What is DCTC Greenhouse?
DCTC Greenhouse is located at the Dorchester Career and Tech Center as part of the Agricultural Science Program. Juniors and Seniors study Plant, Animal and Food Sciences during their 2 years.
Part of our curriculum involves business and marketing skills which students can take to their adult lives.
These products are produced and/or crafted as part of the class. Students do cost/profit analysis, develop ways to market the products and are required to take part in retail events.
The proceeds from sale of our products allows purchase of consumable materials and to travel for training and competition.
